George L's cables

Hi all,

I've been looking up George L's solderless Cables and was just wondering if it was possible to just buy the cables and plugs then install them without the jackets?

I use mine w/o jackets.

I have 2 15' and 2 25' all without the jackets. One end is a regular jack and the other is the extended jack. But no jackets.

Thanks for that. Do the jackets even do anything? or are they just for looks? Yeah I had a feeling that it was possible to make them without. I just needed confirmation.

The straight jackets help but the right angle's really are for looks.

Thanks Loop-Master. I am actually going for the right angle plugs. I should be able to save on some cash now.

Having the jackets on the right angle plugs keeps them from turning very far (< 1/8 of a turn) if they should come loose.
