As the title says... wondering if anyone has played a PRS SE Torero?

"The SE Torero Electric Guitar from Paul Reed Smith features a double-cutaway solid mahogany body and a maple top faced with a beautiful flame maple veneer. The 3-piece maple neck has a 24-fret ebony fingerboard and a comfortable wide-fat profile. You'll feel right at home with the 25&Frac12;" scale length. The PRS Torero is loaded with an EMG-81 pickup in the bridge position and the EMG-85 in the neck position. These low-noise active humbuckers are the pickups of choice for metal guitarists due to their power and articulation. The electric guitar's Floyd Rose designed tremolo bridge gives you the freedom to express every nuance of your style."

Yes and my jaw dropped....I'm not a Floyd/EMG kinda guy but this guitar really plays well and sounds good. I applaud PRS letting some of their younger employees have a hand in designing a guitar for the masses. :munch

yeah, it was okay.

i'm not a fan of the SE line in general, but the new stuff IS better this year. i tend to try and dabble with the CU shapes more than the SC shapes when i'm in a shop. part of me still wants to grab a CU24 SE, but i haven't been "called" by one yet.

overall, it's PRS's take on something along Ibanez or ESP/LTD within a similar price range.

personally, i think i could do better for the money - which is why i haven't bought one. but i can see the attraction for fans of PRS.
