Curious if any TGP's picked up one of these?
Thoughts?

I like to hear more thoughts on this as well.

I have one and I love it. Really good low-mid OD, cleans up with your pick attack and stacks perfectly.

The NOC3 Tourbox thread has some reviews in it:

Only about 23 of the initial pre-production run of 25 are out and about (still have 2 available) so it may take a while for any of the 23 owners to find this thread and post something.

Production models will be available from dealers in about two weeks or less.

I would love to hear a clip that demonstrates these three things (primarily the first two since the third is more rig-dependent). The only two clips on youtube are a Les Paul with too much gain and haphazard knob turning and GMD who always has so much grit coming from his amp that it's hard to tell just what the pedal's doing.

Nick, if you're reading this I'd love to hear what this pedal can do with a tele into a cleanish amp (not necessarily completely clean, but at least clean enough that the pedal's contribution is the predominant factor heard). I'd suggest starting with just a bit of grit, volume around unity, enough treble for bite and enough bass roll-off to keep things tight. Sort of an "edge of break-up" tone that can highlight the ability of the pedal to go from clean to gritty based on pick attack. Start with that, then play around with the three-way switch and the bass roll-off pot so we can hear their effects at low gain settings. Make sure to play some full sustaining chords (both open and barre) and single note bends so we can hear both the note definition and the decay. And then up the gain to a light crunch and repeat. That would really show off the pedal's capabilities IMO.

Can't seem to find much of anything about this pedal on the internet. Either it's a very well kept secret or just nothing worth talking about I guess.

EDIT: I eventually got one myself, and it's definitely the former.

Well kept secret/not advertised.

Things I like about it:

It sounds amazing.
It is super responsive to your pick attack (cleans up when you pick lighter).
Cleans up with volume knob.
Your drive signal kind of melts into your clean signal as the sustain decays.
It sounds amazing.
Not a lot of compression.
Really dynamic.
Stacks incredibly well. (makes every other OD sound like there is more of that OD without changing the characteristic).

Did I mention that it sounds amazing?

I would put this pedal up against ANY other OD pedal.
For reference, I own a Paul C. Timmy, Catalinbread DLS and Hermida Mosferatu.

After my initial post in this thread I ended up ordering one myself, and I can verify everything vesper just said.

I'm planning on writing up a review on it once I get the time to do so. In the meantime, I'll just say that if you play anything in the vicinity of alt-country/roots rock, this pedal will rock your world.

Like most pedals it depends on your rig. I had one into my 67 Deluxe Reverb set pretty clean and I wasn't impressed with it at all. It was too light of an overdrive for this set up. I was looking for something closer to a medium gain pedal (like my Red Snapper or Liquid Sunshine) and the Rock Candy didn't push the front end of the amp enough. I'm not saying it's a bad pedal, just was kind of lackluster in my setup. It may very well kick ass into an already driven EL84 type amp.

^This. The Rock Candy sounds great pushing my AC15. I use a Les Paul mostly, but sometimes also a Tele. The RC sounds great with both. Really is great for alt country/roots rock, as was said before. Not to mention I got #23 of the first 25 limited edition graphics, so it looks as cool as it sounds!

I'm really liking it-it kind of reminds me of my SHOD but with a little more gain and the bonus of the three switching options for more tonal variety.

It has that (dare I say it on TGP) "amp-like" quality of cleaning up well based on a lighter pick attack and growling a bit when digging in with the attack.

Finally, the basic sounds the pedal makes are of a vintage od variety, great for blues, roots rock, etc.

I wish it took an internal battery-sometimes I like a "grab-n-go" pedal for jams and last-minute gigs, but that's a minor quibble given how nice it sounds.
