What's it based on? What kind of amps does it favor? Opinions please.

Stones "Ya Ya's" era Ampegs.

It's tone is thick as all hell, and sounds awesome through everything I've played it through (EL84's & 6V6's). I need to spend more time with it, but it's loaned out to a buddy right now.

It'd probably sound best through an Ampeg then right?

If you have an Ampeg, why would you need a pedal based on an Ampeg? If you want the amp to sound like itself but turned up just use a Timmy or something like that.

Oh, I don't think so.

Said buddy that I mentioned above is probably going to keep mine. He used it for a couple gigs this weekend run before a Blues Driver and into a Mesa Boogie. He was very impressed.
