Who still has concert T-Shirts from their youth?

I still have my Pink Floyd "The Wall" T-shirt from 1979's concert at the L.A. Forum. AND... IT STILL FITS!!!

I have a couple of Cure shirts from the 80s. I have a Love & Rockets shirt from the Express tour. I have a great Siouxsie & the Banshees shirt from the Peepshow tour in '88. I have a New Order shirt that is literally falling apart from the Brotherhood tour. I have a Cowboy Junkies shirt from '90.

But the best quality rock concert t-shirt I own is an Alice In Chains Facelift shirt from '90 or '91. That is a well-constructed Hanes "beefy tee".

I'm only 35 so I don't have shirts from the 70's but I do still have my old concert shirts from when I was a teenager.

I've got my t-shirt collection from old bands I was in, going back to 1991.

I was a youth in the late 70's. All my concert T's from the 70's and 80's are history.

Everyone in certain circles I hung out in wore the Depeche Mode 101 T-Shirt from that big tour in the 80's. No, this ain't me:

Best I can do is a jersey style Iron Maiden Powerslave shirt. Most of my cool ones were stolen by ex girlfriends. Even my Billy Joel from '88!

Folks in that 101 era also wore this EVERYWHERE:

And this one was too.

I wore my US '83 Festival shirt until it literally dissolved. Then I cut the back out with the band listing and hung it on my wall.

Definitely true. And before that, many of those same "youths" were wearing the U2 Unforgettable Fire tour shirt and those darn Frankie Say Relax shirts.
