Our drummer at church wont be available for a couple of weeks. I wanna get a machine or sampler we can us live. Something thats controlable with a midi footcontroller..
The only problem with praise&worship sets is we need something that would be able to improvise on. Something u can do this with:
Select the bank for song x with footctl and then have presets for different song parts assigned to footswitches, for example-
1 intro
2 verse
3 chorus
4 verse with sampling
5 bridge
6 alt chorus
7 ending
8 add. fill
9 add. fill2.

Anything to suggest?
Need atleast 100 banks (for 100 songs).
A bonus would be to be able to have an actual drum module in the device.

Well, I'm more of a laptop guy, so I'd do it like this:
- Soundcard (something small and cheap)
- Sequencer (like Ableton Live)
- Plugin (Addictive Drums/etc.)
- MIDI Footcontroller (Behringer FCB1010)

You can even program an entire song, so you can focus on your playing. You can also make the drum patterns randomize and switch over to footswitch 2 (1 being the starter) to go to the last alt. chorus and towards the ending.

Something like this isn't super complicated, but it would require a laptop, soundcard and the MIDI footcontroller. The plugin(s), in all honesty, you can find on the internet.

I can't think of an actual drum machine that would easily allow that many transitions within a single song, which you could switch on the fly. You will do better with computer based sequencing. We (and many churches) do this with Ableton Live. It takes awhile to program what you need, but once it is programmed, you're set. We use it a lot at rehearsals, when we want to concentrate on vocals, and don't want to bore the drummer.
