Anyone here have a Les Paul Special SL?

LP Special with humbuckers and 'worn' finish, discontinued 2005. I took one in as part of a trade, it's been re-finished in black auto-lacquer, kinda cool but I'm curious about the original look. If you have one in black, please post pics and let me know the street price back then, couldn't find a link.

I always though these were cool guitars, except I've never really been fond of the worn finishes. I'd love to find one used for cheap and refinish it in a solid color with open coil pickups and a wraparound bridge.

I'm betting yours looks nicer than the original! They were great guitars but if you don't like the "worn" finish, you won't like them. I thought they were quite nice, the couple that I played.
