Listened to a seriously good guitarist playing through one of these today in a Music Store...amazing distortion pedal, better than anything I've ever heard or played.

A friend of mine has one. Sounds really good.

Own it. Love it but not as a dual channel. Channel A clean and crunch settings I use a lot. Use it for direct recording. Channel B I never use.
xntrick if the DistX wasn't for you channel B is the same thing basically. Maybe not as heavy but close.

I wasn't too into Channel 2 at high gain settings but at medium gain settings it is nice and fat. I use it as a slight solo boost/lead tone. Channel 1 is a gem in crunch mode. Also, try different tubes, like a 12AY7, to tame the gain in both channels. Makes a huge difference.

Tried changing tubes but that metal bar has got me stumped. I know you're suppose to pull forward or something but it seems so fragile in there. Channel 1 is perfect for me so rather not take the chance.
