Hello, I'm in the market for a light weight 1x12(preferably greenback or V30) combo that has a single channel with master volume. I don't really care about reverb, and not a huge fan of fenders(Blues Jr) I mostly use dirt boxes over clean, so amp distortion is not a huge concern for me. I also don't need anything over 30 watts. Does such an amp exist?
My budget is under 1-2k.
Thanks-

Peeb

Why no fenders? They make a LOT more (and better) amps than the blues jr.

Vox AC15C1 $599. They now come loaded with Celestion Greenbacks - they sound great! I'm going to wait for my next GC's 15% off coupon.

Or, get a used Mesa Lonestar Special: $900-1,100 used.

I have a blackface deluxe clone right now- it's too bassy with dirt boxes- great for cleans though.

I've been leaning towards the Morgan DAG15. I have a blues junior and like you don't care for it. Luckily you know this before owning it. Even though the morgan has El84s like the blues jr, it seems like is sounds a LOT better.

Find yourself a used Budda SD18 and rely less on the pedal.

Here's my new Anderson "mini" 1x12 combo (next to a "normal size" 1x12 extension cab); 20W, 6V6 tubes, with reverb. You can order any features you want from him, and it's well within your budget. He'll quote you a long wait time; it won't even be close to that, but the wait's worth it! http://www.andersonamps.com

You can pick up an old Marshall JCM 800 1x12 combo for just over $1k. Awesome little amps. They're 60 watts, but you said amp distortion isn't needed, so I don't think you'd even notice.

I feel like Marshall is known for their OD channel, not their cleans. If he platforms off clean, maybe shoot for something else that marshall? Just my .02
