It's not that Avatar was "bad" in a unwatchable way. It's that outside the visuals, the story is paper thin.
Without the visuals, this movie would have been forgotten already. There's just nothing there.

There are a lot that are far worse. I just wasted $19.95 on "The Fourth Kind" and a few months ago wasted $19.95 on "Cloverfield". These were seriously bad movies.

Yeah...CHUD is so bad it's good. I've seen on late night a few times in the last year and laughed my ass off each time I watched it.
