So I'm watching Toto on Directv and Steve is playing one of these "Lukes" without that troublesome hardware combo. Did EB ever make these available to the public? I had a Luke with the aforementioned hardware and as much as I loved the tone and playability, I couldn't deal with it. I'd love for this alternative that I saw him playing on this show!

They haven't made ANY Lukes with a Floyd since about 95 when he switched to the vintage trem

The Floyd was on the first version and Steve occasionally plays his old one that has a Floyd with a Sustainer in the neck pickup. All the versions since have not had the locking set up. Mine doesn't either.
