I want to put a 12" speaker on the bottom and 2 10's on top of a Victoria bassman.
Who can u recommend for the job?
Thanx

off topic just a bit... but I put my bassman with a 15 and 2x10's the other day... it's not just for bass players. Worked out quite nicely.

Try Peter Mather. Great guy and he's up for doing some custom stuff. Fair prices as well.

Yep. Peter did mine:

Here's the 2x10" and 1x12" baffle that will fit the same cab:

Hmmm.....do you think a 12 would be better on top?

How are you going to get the load impedance right? Most bassmans us a 2ohm or 4ohm load dont they

Not sure - how did that project go, or not go?

Depends on how you want the power to be distributed among the speakers.

E.g. 100W amp with a 4ohm speaker output. Put an 8ohm 12" in parallel with a parallel configuration of two 16ohm 10"s. Result is a 4ohm speaker load. Power distribution is 50W for the 12 and 50W for the pair of 10s. Thus one could in this case use a 50W 12" and two 25W 10"s. (of course, a considerable power margin might be in order). This can be easily modified for 2ohm without changing the power distribution, by halving all those speaker impedances.

There are also other possibilities, some with a small impedance mismatch (which should be ok). E.g. one might want equal power distribution among the speakers.
