View Full Version : Is it worth putting a MM OT in my Mesa Maverick 2x12??

I love the sound of this amp as is but based on the huge difference the MM's made on some of my other amps, I was wondering if the difference would be worth the expense. Has anyone done this? what do you think?

My guess is that it won't have as much affect as with other companies. Mesa builds a quality product and are much less likely to put in poor parts than say modern day Fender.
...Then again, I don't own a Maverick.

I agree also. I'm not a big Mesa fan but they do seem to use quality parts.

The Maverick is the one Boogie I really, really like. Don't think I'd change and hope.
