Yep...it's my new favorite effect! I picked one up for very cheap a week or so ago and I'm loving it.
It's just so funky sounding. It's definitely good for leads but I love it on rhythm playing.
Wish I hadn't waited so long to get one.

I'm really having fun with phasers for the first time too, the ones in my M13.

i love them, too!
i've had too many over the years: original Phase 45, late 70s Small Stone, awful Dunlop MXR Phase 100, a rather pricey BYOC Phase Royal (back when, for a fee, he would build them for you himself), black Russian Small Stone, Ross Phaser Distortion...i forget the others.
i'm down to just two right now, but am seriously considering an Earthquaker Grand Orbiter. we'll see.

I love 'em too...
I've had quite a few, and still have three that all do their thing differently... the Red Witch, SIB Mr. Fazeadelic, and Sobbat PB-2. Love the sound of phasers!

I bought an MXR '74 RI Phase 90 earlier this year. I wanted that sound that I heard on so many records made in the 70s, and the '74 RI delivered.

I have a Mu-Tron Phasor I that I especially love to use with steel guitars. It adds an extra dimension to the sound that's hard to identify if you don't know what you're listening to. Like all great effects, it sounds like a natural part of the sound and not a gimmick.

Phasers are great! One of my favourite effects. My main phaser at the moment is a Subdecay Quasar. Sadly they stopped making them because of a stupid EU law change on exporting vactrols,. They still make a Baby Quasar but this has fewer controls.

That'll teach me to go to the Thesegoto11 web store after a night out......

Grand Orbiter is the bee's knees. it's got phaser AND vibrato modes and the range of the speed control is ridiculous.

sounds like my kind of box!
the Ross can go into spastic territory, as well...but it's getting a little long in the tooth and might die any day.
plus, looks like the Grand Orbiter has loads more options to it.

I would like one like that! I think I would mod it to be able to power it with suppy and with led too.
I have a vintage modded Small Stone , not a first generation. It's like the standart reissue red one that originally didn' t have a led. Second generation maybe? I' m pretty happy with it! Sounds sweet and spacious, and you can easily move the only knob with the foot while playing!

That's the one i would have kept...mine was stolen.....loved that one. Used to play along to Paranoid Android with that one every freakin' day....i haven't liked any of the USA SS's tho.
Own a Phase 90, loved the Psilocybe.....

Had a few phasers over the years and loved em. I've worked my way up to a Phaseomatic Deluxe from Effectrode as my main pedal. I'ts tube and pretty hard to come by but is the dogs nuts for sound and versitility.

I bought an Ibanez PT-9 on ebay a few weeks back and I'm thrilled with it. Never had a phaser before and always considered getting one, but figured I'd never use it. Now I use it for a lot of rhythm stuff. Really fantastic, got it for about $70. I'm thrilled. Haven't tried the other major phasers actually.

I just returned a Phase 45 because even that wasn't subtle enough for me.
I wish someone would make a phase 20! Just some subtle motion in the notes.

I have exactly that EH small stone phaser and its great...also have a HBE Psilocybe...love em both! Psilocybe is very tweakable... everything from vintage Pink Floyd sounds to almost swooshy univibe on some settings

I just replaced my old Retro-Sonic Phaser with a Mad Professor Tiny Orange Phaser. Itīs a great phaser. Iīve also had a 70īs Electro Harmonix Small Stone, MXR Phase 90 and 100, Maxon PT-999.
