I own and really love the Pig mine, sounds so good at all volumes through my fender blackface preamp. ( mts line). but wondering if I also would like a rams head clone. Thinking of a byoc or one of the stompunderfoot rams. I should also mention I have a vs. 2 green russian as well. My only concern is will they be to similar to have both. Soundclips are great but I have heard the pigmine in soundclips and although you do get an idea of the tone, you really don't hear it until you play it with your own gear. So does anyone own both and are there enough of a difference to own both?

I have a '70's rams head-mine sounds great for a muff style tone
I had a pig mine,it is long gone-mine did not have the richness of the ram's head

Original Ram's head? What guitar(s) and amp(s) are you using? What other effects?

Yes a original would be nice but I cannot afford one. I was hoping to get some opinions on the different clones vs the P.M. Not for quality sake but to understand if the diferences are enought to add a Ram clone to my board. I have read many post and would like to own all of them. But....
