What kind of case is this? SG??

Its obviously not a LP case - the LP fits but the contour is wrong and the upper bout digs into the padding. It looks like an SG case but I've never owned an SG so I guessing.

The bottom section looks a little too wide to be an SG case. I'll post some pictures of my case in a minute or two.

That helps, thanks. The upper bout on this case is significantly smaller than the lower bout - moreso than you see on an sg or lp. its a mystery...

I'm guessing it's a case for a Nighthawk.

I was in a similar situation last year, buying a case advertised locally on craigslist... official Gibson case, etc. Unfortunately, when I got it home (didn't bring my SG with me to check it really was an SG case!) it didn't fit. Even the guys at the local L&M couldn't figure it out.

Needless to say, google to the rescue. :D The seller was happy to refund my $... and I think he resold it for more $ as a 'rare Gibson Nighthawk' case. ;)
