amazed I haven't seen any comments reflecting any interest in the Mike Longo books at the jazzbeat link

I mean Hal Galper HIGHLY endorses Mike's instructional books, not to mention that he was the main pianist for DIZZY G for decades :wave

Have you had a chance to look at the "The Improvised Melodic Line"? In general what is his approach?
