Your Disneyland Experience (Last honest place on earth?)

Recently had a trip to Orange county/ Disneyland. Very hot and crowded but overall tons of fun. The water show is spectacular! I recommend everyone see it. Staff was all helpful and courteous but above all, honest! I wish we all could get back to honesty and customer care like Disneyland employee's reflects. My daughter lost a cheapo $3.00 Visor but it had sentimental value so we went to lost in found. No luck...Yesterday it arrived in the mail on Mickey dime! Their was also a guy in front of us who lost a wad of cash. I gave him snowball chance in summer but can you believe and employee turned it in!! He was as shocked as I was! Bravo! I'm glad my daughter was there to experience that honesty. Loved the Fireworks too!

Disney parks are like no other, and their magic are lost on the concrete slab standing roller coaster crowd. They'd be fun to visit even if there weren't any real big rides.

Hmm, last time I was at Disney Land was senior night in High School. It was found to be a surreal experience.

100% agree, We didn't even ride a Big Coaster (The Water ride withstanding of course) We did all the kiddy stuff and still had a great time.

Last time I went was for Halloween 2007. They didn't really have much decorated even though they were advertising for it. Disneyland gets smaller each time I go...or the older I get. It was huge when I was a kid.

I'm up for virtual reality. Hopefully that will come around in my lifetime. Do whatever you want.....

The best experience to have at Disneyland is to attend a private corp. party on acid or 'Club 33'.

Long lines and extremely crowded, very expensive. Except for the magic of a four or five year old going there for the first time (which is special I'll admit) I'd say it's the closest thing to hell on earth I can come up with. Well, maybe the SHU at Pelican Bay... but Disney anything is a close second.

How much does lunch cost? $25 for a cheeseburger, fries and Coke? I've never been, and you've made me curious. Is it more expensive than an upscale Colorado ski area?

Tomato - tomato. You're in the ballpark but the crowds are worse.

I have been to Disneyland well over a hundred times. The first time I ever went there it was in 1961 when I was 2 years old and I fell out of a canoe that goes around Tom Sawyer island into the water. The operator stopped the canoe and jumped in to save me. I was OK and we stayed the rest of the day. During the 70's us kids would ride our bikes there and have a great time without our parents :D
