I currently have a Marshall Vintage Modern 50W head and matching 425A cab with G12C Greenbacks....I know theres not much luv for these at times but I really like mine :)
I play it in an unconventional way...LDR with an OCD (with the LP)and a FDII (with a Strat).
I get an almost 3D... woody and resonant tone.....very unforgiving and revealing but a blast to play.
Looking for a combo for more grab n go applications and would like to find something that has a similar "woody" and 3D resonance...I'm usually drawn to the British tones...Marshall...Vox...
Would LOVE to find something with reverb and/or an fx loop...some sort of attenuation/power scaling would be really cool or a good MV....
Any suggestions would be appreciated!
Thanks

The Vox AC15h1tv would fit ALL your desires with the exception of reverb and an effects loop. BUT, when I had mine I used a Boss/Fender '63 Reverb pedal, a Crowther HotCake OD and a Fulltone SupraTrem with it and it was classic "Voxy Goodness"!!! I hear they are coming way down in price too.............
