So, I've got some space left on my new pre/post-rig-board, and I hate it - I don't wanna see the floor of the board ;)! I upgraded to a slightly larger board (really, it isn't much bigger at all) due to the EM and the ML1, but it seems I've managed to keep some space open with removing the modded BOSS RV-3 and the modded Dyna Comp '76 Script RI.

I'm planning on putting a TS (a vintage TS808 or a TS808HW) in front of the Model H and looking to put the Line 6 DL-4's power block (it's just there now because I have the space) off the board so I can fit an analog chorus there with a mix knob.

But, I have a spot next to the WET that can be filled, but I think it can only be filled with a MXR style small pedal. I tried the Dyna Comp there and it fits perfectly, so I'm sure anything a little bigger, like BOSS - for example - really wouldn't work.

I don't really have a clue what to put there, in all honesty, haha.
Here's the rack rig, so I don't get any excessive recommendations:

The board is just to add some pre or post effects to the G-System rig.

So, anyways:
- I'm not a big fan of phasers
- I don't really use tremolo
- I've tried fuzz's but it just isn't for me
- I think I've got plenty of gain with the Model H, the DLS, the Nova Drive and the up and coming TS
- I don't think I really need a new reverb and aren't really looking for ones that are on the market now. The WET is great for my uses
- I'm covered in the flange department and in the chorus as well, in the future
- I'm good with my Keeley C4 Compressor
- Never been a fan of ringmods

So, what's left? Delay? ANOTHER delay? :bonk
I've been joking to put a Carbon Copy next to the ML1. I tried one out today in the store when picking it up and it was actually pretty cool. But do I really need another delay? No.
So, what do we have left? Well, I've been thinking, perhaps a subtle Vibe? I might be open to another drive, a small one perhaps.

Bring it in and on! If I can't find anything, I'll just space everything up a bit more and leave it at that. :)

Autowah or some other filter effect. If you want to go somewhat atonal maybe a ring mod.

edit: I recommend a DOD440 for a filter, should fit size requirements

That isn't such a bad idea, actually!

How about a good clean boost? Or maybe the Montgomery Applicances SD/Pre which is MXR Carbon Copy size and replicates the front end preamp from the Korg SDD-3000 ala The Edge of U2.

Perhaps a buffer or maybe a Fuzz Factory? It's more than just your run-of-the-mill fuzz, DCS. It's ideal for noise and velcro-y things, which would be interesting in your post-metal project.
