Long, near infinite sustain.
Zero to Low noise.
Minimal squish.

Right now, I'm leaning toward either the TC Electronics Sustain+Parametric EQ or the Philosopher's Tone Germanium.
What do you guys recommend?

No compressor has infinite sustain....
Id say Rothwell Love Squeeze or Tone Press if your thinking of using a comp as a boost/sustain pedal.

Bump!
Btw, selecting "Other" and not sharing your opinion is worthless to me. :)

What's the Tone Press do when the sustain is cranked and the Blend is at noon? Does it sustain for a long time without squishing too much? Where are you using it in your chain? I'm looking for a compressor to throw at the very front.

I won't vote since I haven't played both. However, there are some comments I wanted to make: the Philosopher's Tone provides probably the longest sustain I've heard from a compressor. Play loudly, turn your guitar towards the amp to take advantage of the feedback and you will most probably turn it into an endless note, even though it also works fine at lower volumes. I don't own it anymore - for opinions you'll have to try the search function. Mind you though, providing long sustain with minimal squish is an impossible thing to do, because to put it very roughly, the actual sustain is created by that "squish". So as a warning, the Philosopher's Tone will do that, even with the use of the blend, which in my opinion is nowhere near the functionality and usefulness of a properly designed blend function such as the one in the Barber Tone Press.

Your assertion is true at bedroom volumes, meaning if I can comfortably talk over your volume, then yes, I agree. Otherwise, anything louder than that, and with a guitar that isn't dead, I can and DO get nonstop sustain with my regular (non-germ) Philosopher's Tone, cleanly. Which is just kind of eerie. So long as the speaker proximity/volume is enough to reinforce existing string vibration (it doesn't need to be much). My Tone Press couldn't do it, and my Diamond can't do that, but the PhiloTone can.

Awesome, this is what I wanted to hear.
I mostly play a semi-hollow and I've learned to control feedback pretty well, so I think that extra clean sustain would do exactly what I need.
