My man is so coked up--he can't wipe the chemical grin off his face.

Great little back up band! Was that John Jorgenson on Mandolin?
08-05-2010, 06:31 PM
Yeah, it's the Jorgenson Bluegrass Band. Must've seemed like a great idea at the time....

I remember seeing this live when he did it. It is still hard to believe. How about those solos though??!!

There are moments in our lives that upon retrospect, cause us to think "my god, what was I thinking?" For some individuals (me), drinking 22 black Russians in one night might be cause for a raised eyebrow and for others...doing a bluegrass version of Jump.

LOVE IT! More bluegrass is always whats needed!

that was really nice. Dave is such a great entertainer, and not afraid to mess with the classics.
Then again, I love Dread Zepplin over Led Zepplin, so maybe I'm an oddball, but I thought it was a refreshing take on a song we've all heard a billion times already.

I thought he looked extremely uncomfortable just standing there, as if he really wanted to slip in an air-split or two.

Jump the Shark. Sad

I like it! Definitely diffferent and out of the norm...even for DLR's tastes. I think it's probably not for some, but DLR deserves some credit for thinking outside the box.
More so than EVH these days...just sayin....

What a grinning, oxygen-wasting moron; of no use whatsoever, other than to provide a nice payday and wider exposure for some great musicians, slumming. Rob Ickes on dobro!!! Yeah!

Banjo player nailed Eddie's tapping licks note-for-note :dude

I like it.
It's different. I also likes Hayseed Dixie's albums.
Plus it looks like they are having fun.

That sounds like it should be on "Dr. Demento".

That is Brad Davis doing the flatpicking...Brad played for a LONG TIME with Marty Stuart and later with Sam Bush...Look very closely at the big piece of RAWHIDE on the headstock of his guitar...He came up with a way to put a "B" Bender in an acoustic guitar..http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4TQlqRLtaKs

Hazel Dickens would kick his ass and half the band as well. (Unless it was Halloween)
Might as well ...chump!
