Forgot how much I missed my Timmy

After a couple year absense, I finally got another Timmy. Actually I got two. A v1 showed up at a good price, and a few days later a v2 showed up at what I thought was a killer price. I just sold an old car, so I was feeling rich. Might sell one or might keep them both. Not sure. But I absolutely will not sell both!

Last night I rocked a Turbo Tuner -> Hot Cake (my other most favoritist OD) -> Timmy -> Tremodillo -> Faux Tape -> Class 5. (not on the board, but always in the bullpen: a Fulltone MDV-2, original MXR Micro Chorus, AM NKT275 and BC108 Sunface, Beano, and Juicer, and some misc) Everything I need. Think I'll just play for a while!

The Timmy (and the Hotcake) make this non-MV amp useable at all volumes. Just beautiful!

If you are talking about the Timmy's, they stack great. They don't clean up very well, but if you like a dirty rhythm sound, the Timmys form a very cool "raw" sound together. I also love the Timmy stacked with the Hotcake. After all these years collecting boutiques, these are my two favorite.
