Reinhardt Amplifiers offers a high power G12H30. Highly recommended.

1)R65H-LCthis speaker is a heavy magnet speaker with the large dust cover. its a 65 watt speaker, and will sound awesome with any amp up to 50 watts. Tonally its similar to an old G12H-30, but with slightly attenuated highs, and more mids.
2)R65H-SC This is the small dust cover version of the H series. It is similar to the Large version, but has a bit more top end sizzle, and a bit less low mid emphasis. Very cool, pre 1970 G12H sound, but with more power handling.

The H75 is not a "bass" cone speaker, which basically means it is not a 55hz speaker like the G12H30. The H75 does have the larger magnet like the G12H30 but it doesn't have the same frequency range. If you want a higher powered G12H30 you need to get the Scumback H55 in either a 65 or 100 watt. I have 2 pair of the H55's and they are awesome.

Pretty positive the Anniversary has a 70hz frequency peak, the original models in the 70's were lower. So yours would be more like the old one, the H75 would be more like the new one.

I love it when people comment on threads and say "end of thread" or in this case "done". Nobody else could possibly have anything relevant to add here. You are basically saying this is what you should get and you don't need anyone else's opinions because what I have told you is what you need to get.

Yep, these are made by WGS, which is my recommendation!

Is this Speaker, sound wise, kind of like a cross between a V30 and a G12H30?

Not really. The large dust cover rolls off a bit of the high end. Still has the qualities of a G12H30.

Ah ok, so it still has plenty of highs, but not hoarse...Correct?
So would this speaker be a good choice for a ported 1x12 cab with a channel switcher playing Fender and Marshall tones?
I understand no one speaker will be perfect for both...Just trying to get one that works good for both.
Thanks

I have a Reinhardt JKC33 combo with the Reinhardt branded Weber R65H, which I was told is a cross between the G12H30 and G12-65. It's a very competent speaker for this amp (running KT66s). And very tonefully clean, and a sweet balanced hard driver when the gain is pushing it.
However, I built a chambered & front ported 2x12 slant and installed a set of vintage (c. 1980) 8 ohm G12-65s. I'm driving the pair at 4 ohms with the Reinhardt. I disconnect the combo speaker when using this cab. Cleans are beautiful and powerful. Fender-ish, but more Marshally - which I prefer with this amp, and why I got it.
The G12-65s seem like nicely balanced drivers and not harsh on top. Gain wide open and pushed hard produces a great, leg hair shaving event - and the tone... ah the tone. Marshall-esque.
Keep in mind that many parameters will affect how the speaker responds. The experience I'm talking about is specifically with this amp, a cord, and a Fender Strat using Rocketfire Total 60s pups.
I like 'em, those vintage G12-65s.

The large dust cover is better suited for overdrive tones, but I'm sure either speaker would be fine (large or small dust cover). I prefer the sc personally.

Just an FYI...
Celestion made 55 and 75 hz bass response coned G12H30's in the 60's and 70's. T1281 was the 55hz, T1217 was the 75hz. Pics, etc here:

The H55 sounds like the old "pre-rola" era (66-73) G12H30 T1281 55hz, the H75 is like the old G12H30 T1217 75 hz model.
The Anniversary G12H30 is a modern toned version, and doesn't sound like the pre rola models.

Yep. That's what im saying. you have nothing relevant to say Leftyman. Go home.
Of COURSE that's not what im saying. sheesh! I was offering my opinion. The ASW stuff just ends the search for me.

I use a Scumback H75 100w speaker in a 1x12 cab with 50w heads sometimes, sounds great & although I haven't ever really pushed it hard I think it would handle it

What amps do use it with?
I won't be pushing it too hard...Don't want to go deaf LOL.

Tophat Emplexador 50w and Ambassador 50w, as well as another 35w head. I put the 100w H75 in my 1x12 cab for those times when I want the power of the bigger amps but don't have room for a larger cab. A 50w "grab n go" rig if you will....I usually use an attenuator just for practicality's sake but have run unattenuated and quite loud with no issues (just not dimed, that's not really "my sound")....

i had an ASW Kts-70 for a year and sold it (Dumb move). it is a really great speaker.in fact, i will probably snag another one when my Red plate comes. just my 2 cents worth.
The Celestion Anniversary G12H30 (NOT 55hz) can handle a 50 watter. I've had two in a Twin Reverb I run on about 7.5 volume wise... The Scumbacks sounds MUCH better, however...

When you say the Scumbacks sound better...Could you describe how they do sound better from a tonal perspective?
