I'm a newbie who just bought my first danocaster used 2nd hand. It's still in route via UPS. I cant wait and do have some questions.
How long has Dan been making guitars?
How many guitars are produced each year?
Do you know if he makes his own bodies or buys them?

He is a senior member here on TGP and chimes in frequently...He will probably answer you personally.

Old Thread but want to chime in.. I have 2 Dano's that he built for me. The best sounding and playing guitars you will find. The Esquirish one he sent me will be buried with me. Wouldn't trade it for a original 59.

Would love to own one of this guitars one day. He does amazing work.
Dan's guitars are fabulous. I consider myself lucky to have one. Each day I play it I am reminded as to how great an instrument it is. It's also the first guitar I've owned that is actually breaking in like a pair of jeans.
Plus he is a really cool guy to talk to!
