I live in NYC so I need something I can carry around to gigs in a duffle bag or backpack and plug into a borrowed cabinet.

I've been looking at Randall RM20/RM22's, Krank Jr's, Orange Tiny Terrors, THD's, ect...

What do you guys suggest?

Or even better the Jet City with Dave Friedman Brown eye mod.

great suggestions! putting them all on my list...

Anything by Dr. Z that's worth mentioning? I know they make smaller amps...

The Vox Night Train is pretty tiny. The gain gets pretty high too, maybe not as much as you're looking for, but definitely worth a look.

Blankenship Leeds 21 Carry-On series. That's what it's made for.

I own both a randall rm20 and orange tiny terror, both of those are pretty good amps.

Marshall Haze 15. Even has a digital effects card built in, but the main signal path if you dont turn effects on is pure tube, in fact, the clean channel is a plexi and the gain channel is a modded 800.

Owned a tiny terror and sold it in 4 weeks... Very buzzy sounding amp to my ears. I tried it through Celestion g1275, Golds, Mesa cab, none made it work for me.

Is this true??? Why isn't it the most popular amp ever?

I have a two month old Tiny Terror head for sale that could fit the bill. It actually comes with a black embroidered messenger bag for the amp.
