I'm (as always) trying to cut down on the number of amps I've got. I tend to like to play on a big, clean canvas, That can be a fender-y or marshall or ac30 textured canvas, love them all, but tend toward fender. Then I use a variety of pedals for various levels/styles of dirt. I play in a few different bands, from Steely Dan tribute band, to a funk/blues outfit, a Jon Cleary/Matt Schofield inspired N'awlins kind of band. And get calls to sit in with a couple of british blues inspored bands, some classic rock, some alt country. Play all sizes of venues, shy of arenas.
I've got too many amps, or more than I want to keep around anyway. But I'm always having a hell of a time choosing which I don't need. I like having both combos and head/cabs as options. I've listed below what's in the stable at the moment. Any thoughts of what you'd get rid of?
112 Cab - Ear Candy - have a red, white and blues in there at the moment.
212 Cab Avatar- with his standard Hellatone 30/Hellatone 60 mismatch in there (I think)
Heads:
Heritage Colonial (50w, can take 6L6 or EL34, using it with the later, my only EL34 head right now)
Reeves Custom 50PS
Ceriatone 50W OTS
Vox Night Train (8/15 w)
Combos:
Genz Benz Black Pearl 112
Working Dog Rottweiler 112
DR Z EZG-50 112
Bassman 59 RI
Epiphone Valvue Junior 112
