I'm not a big poster about pedals but I had to say something about this one. I've been looking for a reverb that would sound natural and just like a reverb should. IMHO, this is it. I just got it today and I'm in love. I'm also a little biased - my favorite amp is the Morgan AC20. And I can't believe the price - $109 shipped! Just my 2 cents. ;)

Have you tried the malekko spring chicken? Just wondering how they compare. Do you sense any tone loss with the shadow verb?

succor - i have a spring chicken which is a great verb but i'm probably going to be keeping the morgan. it's just a little more subtle, a little less in your face. ymmv

I also just purchased a shadow verb and it sounds great...I have been using a lush puppy for a number of months and while a great pedal the shadow verb is just a little smoother ...

He makes pedals, too? He is one versatile and talented mofo.

I played the prototype a while ago. It's pretty legit. Mine is on it's way. Can't wait!!

I really dig the ShadowVerb. It sounds awesome with both the AC20 and the RCA35. It can get way springy, I just use a dash to trail the edge of the note/chord. AND the little M on it lights up just like the amps and lets admit it, if it looks cool it sounds better.

Anybody compared this to the WET reverb?

I just got on today from a fellow TPG-er,
but it does not take a 9v battery, so anyone know what kind of power supply I need for it?
thanks in advance!!!

Joe doesn't make them anymore... I think rockett pedals will be producing them for him in the future

I just received it in the mail,
very subtle sounding reverb,
even when turned up all the way it's still quite mellow.
Would not recommend it if you need heavy dripping.
But I have to say just like most other reverb pedals I have heard,
it cuts the tone and accents the high.
But anyway, gas is cured...:drool
