PRS stoptail

i have a Tremonti SE that i'm pleased with...no issues...
however, i happen to have a stoptail from a PRS SC245 that i assume would be an easy switch...
is it in fact, a simple swap and if so, is there a real good reason to do so?

i also have a pair of PRS #7 pups i'll probably put in it...

I know there is a difference in the studs, but the bridge will fit on the SE studs and should be of better quality. I would give it a shot, it's a pretty easily reversible mod, no?
