Tye Rivera has worked for Tom Ribbecke for around 10 years and
has been making more of his own guitars for the past few years.

So when I had a bit of extra money I couldn't resist ordering this.
it's called a lumos.
Chambered Swamp Ash body with maple top
mahogany neck
koa binding all around
more details when I get more photos. .http://[IMG]http://i76.photobucket.com/albums/j38/murphy67/Rivera%20lumos/th_tn-4.jpg (http://s76.photobucket.com/albums/j38/murphy67/Rivera%20lumos/?action=view&current=tn-4.jpg)

Seems to be an issue with the images. If it's any bit as tight as the koa/orange burst archtop he had at Healdsburg 2009 then the guitar must be KILLER!

Yes that archtop is very cool. My guitar top is going to be the same finish as the back of the archtop from the healdsburg show. and I'll fix those pics.http://[IMG]http://i76.photobucket.com/albums/j38/murphy67/Rivera%20lumos/th_bound.jpg (http://s76.photobucket.com/albums/j38/murphy67/Rivera%20lumos/?action=view&current=bound.jpg)

So it was a really long week, but well worth it. Best sounding guitar I've ever played.
the neck was modeled after a 1955 gretsch roundup I have. It sounds and plays better than it looks ,and it is quite the looker..
This guitar will be at the healdsburg luthier show in August if you want to check it out.
Thanks Tyrone , you make a very cool electric.

.you tube video soon..
