I moved back into an apartment so I left all my loud amps at home, got an attenuator, and have been using my 5 watt amp. Even before I was exclusively using this amp, I really loved the sound and wished it could be loud enough for jammin with the guys.
I have the attenuator so I can control the volume in the apartment.
What if I wanted to do the opposite.
What if I had a powered mixer and a couple larger pa speakers (lets say, 2x12 in each cabinet). Could I flank either side of this little amp, mic it, then run it through the amps personal PA. Would this sound like crap? It seems like this way, I would never be to quiet, or when I was too loud, I could turn down but maintain my "tone." I know some people use this technique to "float" their effects (delays, reverbs, mods)
