Different from one another, but both great. Stonebender for early Page/Beck tones, ODB for 70s Jeff Beck.

Which is raunchier? Tighter bottom? Lookin for a 70s style fuzz to gnarl up my new sunn. I'm leaning towards the odb so far. Thoughts anyone?

My ODB kicked my fuzzface off my board.

The ODB goes from clean boost to overdrive, all the way up to a fuzzface sound. Once you're in the fuzzface territory, you can use the silicon or germanium switch to tailor your sound. It definitely works for me, especially live, where the fuzzface has gotten lost at times.

That's kinda what I've gathered from reviews and youtube. I dig its versatilty. I know I didn't spell that right. Haha. I've never been a huge fuzz guy, but I just picked up a new head n cab and wanna try some new things into that alongside my normal live rig.

The Stonebender gets can get pretty raunchy; I have it dimed on the OD side going into two other fuzzes and it acts as a treble boost.

I've had both at the same time and both are worth having at the same time. Thanks to all the extra knobs and switches Throbak add you can get a overdrive to fuzz out of both.

If you're looking for more of a fuzz I'd go for the sTonebender, I think it's been my favorite tone bender I've had so far. The ODB is killer for boosting/eqing/driving/sparkling.

The aggression of the stonebender is what I dig, but I love the sparkle n boost I'm hearing from the odb. My other head will be running into a 2x15 and has all the gain I need. Id like to chime and add clarity w the head n 4x12. Just give it a lil push into fuzzy goodness so to speak. I was also debating picking up a treble booster again. I had the dyna ranger n loved it. Only sold it bc the head I picked up did everything I wanted without needing it.
