Jayapala..
Oh man that is such a great compositional mood & wonderful playing David ...
Your innovative reinvention of effect usage is so refreshing ...
Yes I know it's not UR intentions to do thus... but U still do regardless..
Thank you ...

thanks, jl!
yes, it's not my intention.

fwiw,
this started out as a "quicky" piece to highlight my PTD Tornita pedal,
which i find kinda musically inspirational.....

Great track DT, brilliant and 100% cliche free, how do you do this? Never mind, I'll never get 20% of the way there, but I sure appreciate it as a listener!:bow All the best to Karn and his family too. Will they make physical discs for luddites such as myself who prefer them?

glad you dig it, mark!
i don't know if "the council" is offering a cd;
my involvement was limited to offering a track.
i suspect there'd be info, in this regard, on their website?
i hope so!
best,

David, what incredible music you've written and performed!
Through this piece you transmit your feelings of suffering for your (and our) friend Mike.
David you're a great musician but above all you are a great man.
Bravo!
Ciao!

Oh my, chewy goodness!

Love the metallophone (celesta? glock?) doubling, too.

Light, tight and right (well, maybe not "light").

MK really is a renaissance hombre, no?

celesta + dulcitone, cd.

and --- yes,
mk has always been a renaissance dude/mensch/hombré etc, afaict:
fine & original player & composer, chef, sculptor, well-read,
psychology degree, etc etc etc.....

currently, we're working on a new dalis car recording
with peter murphy.....
i don't know where it will go,
given the harsh reality of the instability of mick's health, but.....
i do like where it is, right now.

thanks, paul --- i do think this track could be developed, more.....

dt great as usual. I have beem listning a lot to you're misic lately, the stuff you did with Mick and also to a lot of David Sylvian.. so much great music.. BTW i stumbeled on Politician with you and Jack Bruce.. wonder what TAG would think about THAT tone..
(hope to hear youre reports on the Octatrack... when and if you get it, as well as other cool looping gear. I heard that the EDP will be sort of rereleased)

That was way cool! I guess I really need to explore your music more as that song really brought me back to relive some very long forgotten memories of my initial exposure to Robert Fripp. It was one of those frying pan in the face THWACK moments. Thank you for that.

all good!
there is an awful lot of my stuff available;
frankly, while it feels all-of-a-piece to me,
it does seem to jump-the=turnstiles of a pretty broad range of musical styles & idioms.....
especially, once ya dig into the film-scores, and some of the "session"-work.

ha! what did i do?
i can't remember..... at all, somehow?
(maybe i stuck to the more atmospheric groups-of-sound, maybe???
gotta get a copy of that disc, here.)

yes, i'm still waiting to "test" the octatrack;
it shld be exciting & inspiring, whenever that might occur.
dunno when, though.....

"new" EDP, what?
¿really?
do tell me more!

dt,

You can listen to that great Jack Bruce stuff on spotify, "Jack Bruce Collector's Edition"
Various Artists – The Jack Bruce Collector's Edition (http://open.spotify.com/album/1GrE1Bgf7G0iTsvvHLmsG5) Yeah and maybe it's groups of sound, it's a very cool "solo" with to guitars and one is very much you as well as some tape recorder into guitar microphones loopish stuff??.. (and the there is "The wind Cries Mary" from that album as well.. with some DT atmospheric stuff and a GREAT solo section with a lot of crying windish sounds)

This is a quote from Loopers Delight and what Mathias Gross has to say on the topic Mobius in a rack format..
"friends,
I have not been present here because I work day and night exactly to achieve this!
The past years, I translated the EDP ASM soft to the Echoloop VST plugin in C++
and the past months, with great help from Bob Amstadt, I adapt this software to run on a little Linux processor
as Jeff suspects, its pretty crazy and takes a lot of rewrite, but it seems I will manage to maintain the core with the essencial typical functions that make it all work the same, so all those musicians who composed on the EDP or Mobius for years can seamlessly continue playing with the Evoloop rack unit - with next to no audio latency (yes, its not like running a plugin on Linux, Bob is much smarter! :-)"
So apparenty Bob Amstad and Matthias is working together on this..
So maybe a new improved EDP/Mobius rack unit and perhaps the octatrack can provide some repeaterish stuff..
