Axe-FX into my Superseventeen and AC15

Floating the idea of getting one of these suckers....How will it sound through my current amps running stereo of course? I cant give these up for the atomic stuff cuz I just dont know if maybe one day I wont like the axe-fx and want to "go back", plus my wife would hurt me...(I begged for these 2 amps and she finally gave in :rotflmao)

well, lacking somebody else who has the exact same setup (guitars, amps, patches, etc.)...it's impossible to say.

I think it is fair to say that your proposed setup is not the paradigm under which the Axe was conceived. Will it sound "good"? That's really for you to judge.

So....standard advice....take advantage of the 15 day return policy and try it yourself and see if you like it. If possible, I'd also encourage you to find a good FRFR powered monitor to play with during the trial period. I'm of the personal opinion you can't really judge the potential of the Axe if you are monitoring through guitar amps. But hey, that's just me and I bet there are several users going this route who are quite content.
