View Full Version : Northampton, MA 10/23 - Zeppelin vs. Sabbath

A local promoter put together a Led Zeppelin/Black Sabbath -only show at The Elevens in Northampton, MA on Saturday, 10/23.

A bunch of local bands are playing 20 minute sets. My outfit is a one-off for this show. We're calling ourselves The Emmet Sturm Orchestra (named after the guitarist/vocalist's 3 month old). We're playing shortly after 11 p.m. The event starts about 9 p.m. Should be a blast. Our mini-set is from Physical Graffiti (we've got a really tasty keyboardist for this one).

That's actually a really cool idea, kind of a battle of the bands where people play famous covers.

We basically do the same thing annually at Northampton's Transperformance at The Pines Theater every summer. In the past I've helped cover The Toadies, CSNY, STP, and he B-52s. It's always a blast.
