The Johnny A Stoptail is nice and light and very comfortable.
I'll try and weigh mine later today and let you know.
The Martino should be similar...it's also a very cool guitar and it will be my next Gibson for sure.
Heeeeeeere's Johhny....

While you're at it could you get the measurement across the lower bout too? Any info would be welcome basically. Thanks a lot.

My JA stoptail weighs about 6.75 lbs so it's probably a good guess that they would typically be 7 lbs or less.
It really is a comfortable size and weight.
The real killer feature is the 25.5 scale set neck + ebony board.
Combine that with all solid woods and the cool look and you have a great guitar.
Also, the inside of the back is carved flat like an acoustic to create better projection.
Here's a link to the Johnny A Registry (I am guilty of not signing up yet)...

The Johnny A is definitely light - sorry to not have exact weight, but I'm sure phretbored is accurate. Mine is without Bigsby. A review in the product review section I did some time ago offers this owner's opinions.
It is a sweet guitar.

I love these guitars. If it were not for having to buy a new heat pump, I'd own one.

No, it was not a special order. The dealer told me that JA has some control over the tops and he thought maybe it had some mineral streaks or something and that it was done to cover it up. It plays and sounds wonderful.
