p90 in tele HELP!!!

so i just got a SD vintage p90 to put in the neck of my tele. I put it all together and nothing :( this is the first time ive installed my own pickup and im having trouble. Can someone please help. thanks!

yea the closest thing to it was the humbucker in the neck, thats how i wired it. i soldered the braided chord to the volume pot to ground it and the actual lead to the 3way

Hmmm...sounds like you did it right. Recheck all your work and make sure there are no other wires touching somewhere that they should not be touching. I had this issue wiring up two new pups in a LP. Pissed me off thinking I screwed up and then I saw my mistake.

i went at it again and i got it to work, i think i just had a bad solder joint. Thanks so much!
