I'm after an Analogman SUnface with the high gain NKT-275s...
but I just listened to the demo of the Fuzz Haze on PGS, and it sounds damn good...
I wish PGS could do a demo of the Sunface so I could compare!

Does anyone know what the low end is like on the sunface?

Which one would you go for?

I'm just after that massive fuzzface sound, thick and creamy!

I just like that it says the Fuzz Haze retains the low end, sounds good to me!

Sunface is great - I also like how you can control the input level with the internal knob - the Hartman Vintage Germanium has this knob on the outside called "Level" and is as good as any - actually the Hartman is the warmest with best low end out of all 7 I've had (even when rolling back the guitar volume).

Don't get me wrong - Sunface NKT is also as good as any.... Also holds its value and is verstaile. The low end is great when the guitar volume is on 10 - when rolling it back - like nearly all Fuzz Faces the bass drops down.

I love every one I have (had)

I just listened to the PGS demo - that looks nice too and I like how it said it has more output - that is desireable with a Fuzz Face to me....

Probably can't go wrong - enjoy!

FYI - here is my Fuzz Face experience:
Have:
Hartman Vintage Germanium (as good as any - fat and warm - 2SB415 and AC142)
Sunface NKT White Dot (awesome - as we know - and versatile)
Hendrix Fuzz Face (favorite silicon - BC108 - great fuzz face)
Gypsy Fuzz (unique - NPN and PNP silicon - can set up like overdrive too - the most flexible)
Cornell 1st Fuzz (NOS NKT 275) - THE BEST (this is the real deal from the U.K.)

On the way (December maybe):
Fulltone 69 Slight Return

Had:
Diaz Square Face (heavy but cleans up like nobody's business)
London Fuzz

Want:
Sunface NKT 275 Red Dot

I already miss the Fuzz Haze I just sold. Very versatile pedal as far as a FF types go, due to the pre-gain toggle, with plenty of volume on tap. Throbak makes GREAT od/boost/fuzz.

I went nuts with FF's and now I'm reluctantly purging them. Never did try a Sunface, though....
