Anyone take Avodart / Proscar WITHOUT side effects?

Doing some research. How prevalent are the side effects with these drugs?

Yes - they can shrink the prostate and potentially even reduce risk of cancer, but if you end up not needing a willy anymore (except to pee), is it worth it?

Looking for real feedback.

Try saw palmetto.

My doctor recommended it, siad many of his patients have had positive results. Takes a while tho, maybe 6 months.

beware proscar, avodart, propecia --- all can have a dangerous affects on your male hormones.

I have been taking Avodart since 2003, so far no issues at all. I do take blood tests, every 6-12 months to monitor how my body is reacting to it. Willy is just fine, so Im happy!!
