mmm... no. But I can convince a friend of mine who has a very fine restaurant in Brooklyn with REAL italian cuisine to keep it open for a late nite banquet.
Dress code: furry hat.
EDIT. Hey I checked on the map for fun. Aldilà restaurant it's like 0,3 miles from Littlefield. And the owner is the only friend I have in NYC. Is this a sign that I should really come?

Village Voice (choice), jim macnie:
"The last time guitarist David Torn (http://www.villagevoice.com/related/to/David+Torn) connected with saxophonist Tim Berne (http://www.villagevoice.com/related/to/Tim+Berne), they came up with Prezens, an excursion into the wild blue yonder that demonstrated how a vicious attack could coincide with a spacey demeanor. You know, one thing I always love is seeing such amazing musicians playing together for the first time. I know that you and Tim have played a lot, and Ches and Tim have played a lot, but it was really cool seeing how the first set evolved, how this new combination of artists were finding a way to create collectively. Not very often when you can actually see and hear that process as it's happening!

I was just making a year-end list, and had to mention here that the Aarses performance at Littlefield was easily one of the best shows I've seen this year (and I've seen a bunch, taking advantage of my newfound NYC residency). The level of interplay, inventive sounds, and...FLOW...to the whole thing was phenomenal.
The first set was exploratory, the second a bit more...bloodthirsty. I loved both, deeply.
Can't wait to hear more.
(What's this about a Ribot date? the DT website is sadly un-maintained!)
