I proposed to my wife along the river front, north of Broadway. This was actually a hasty Plan B, as Plan A was to ask her on a horse drawn carriage ride, but she declined the ride. :jo We found a nice bench to sit on, although she couldn't figure out why the hell I wanted to sit (it was January, in the evening). After I popped the question and she accepted, I heard some applause-a couple of homeless guys cheering me on :D
