I can handle the little stuff, wiring a jack plate or a ground. changing out a pickup and putting it exactly where I got it. But who would you guys reccomend to do a custom wiring harness for a strat? Someone I could send a set of pick ups to and have them wired up in Pro fashion? Maybe even add a few tricks? All I want to do is wire it to the jack.

South Florida. There is an expert repair person /Luthier nearby but he is a Busy busy bee. I try only to bring him my big stuff. Appriciate any help. I'd like to mail it to someone actually......Thanks!

What you're talking about is far from what is regarded as a custom wiring harness. It's nothing more than simple point to point wiring. If you can't find a guitar tech, find any electronics buff. Although since you say you can solder, assuming you can read a very simple wiring diagram, go for it yourself. It's a skill you'll want moving thru life as a electric player!
