Anyone have experience with BOTH of these guitars? Difference in sound? Feel? I am thinking of picking up a fender custom shop tele and these two appeal to me because of the thicker necks. I also like the all black reliced finish and both of these models come in that finish. Any thoughts or general conversation on either of these guitars is much appreciated!
:D

Yes, yes, and yes. Sold the 52RI and till own and love the Nocaster. The pickups and baseball sized neck make it a winner... at least for me.

Hmm you had the CS 52? Not the normal 52RI? How did the necks compare on these two? The nocaster has a much fatter neck right? I want a really fat neck.

Thanks for the reply!

If you want a really fat neck, you want a nocaster.

i'm really interested in this comparison, there's a 52 CS for sale here in Belgium and i'm also wondering what to get...

Then again I have a Dave's special order '52 Relic that has the Nocaster neck on it.
Has 9.5" radius and med. jumbo frets but it's the Nocaster neck alright.
Some of the CS '52's can also.
There are enough variants you have to check carefully what you are getting.

The on that's for sale here has a nocaster neck, a twisted tele neck pup and nocaster bridge pup, what's the big difference with a nocaster then?

Sounds like the specs of mine.
