Finally Broke......

So, my ernie ball jr volume pedal finally gave out and the string busted on me at a youth retreat gig. I have had it for 3 years and it has been a work horse. To be honest, I'm surprised it lasted this long. It's being fixed right now at a local guitar shop Krazy Kat music. Any thoughts on these ernie ball jr's?

Do the kevlar string replacement mod. I will search for the link of the guy (possible TGPer) that does the mod if you can't. I know Goodrich and Hilton will pop up as well. Also look into Mission volume pedals. I still think the EBs are the best and greatly prefer them to just about everything else. Good luck.:D

Yeah my buddy over at the shop is fixing it. But what does the mod do? Or is it just a quick fix?
