Besides the Jimmy Page model, any other LPs feature a coil tap option?
Anyone ever modded their LP with split 'buckers?

It's like a cross between a LP Traditional and LP Traditional Pro without any binding.

Is that a MF exclusive?

Well, yeah, a GC exclusive and by that measure a MF exclusive too. This also applies to the Traditional Pro.

My chambered R9 has Dr. Vintage p'ups that are tapped. Adds a lot of versatility and I think is very worthwhile. Not difficult to do. You just have to make sure whatever pickups you get are 4 conducter wired and get the right pots.

Several recent Gibson LPs have coil taps, usually done with push-pull pots. The old 25/50 Anniversary model had a single mini-switch that selected humbucker/single coil back in '78, and several non-LP Gibsons had coil taps, including the 335-S.
If you've got four-wire pickups, you can easily wire up coil taps, run the pickups in parallel mode and even put the pair of pickups out of phase with each other. Most of my guitars have coil taps, many have phase switches and a few have lots more than that going on with the controls.
Have coil tap in the neck pu on my Oxblood...splits the Fralin Allman nicely.

Coil tap mods are easy for any 4 wire bucker. Why Gibson does not have it on all their guitars is beyond me.
I have the Trad Pro Goldtop with coil tap. Push/pull on each volume control. I liked it ok with the stock '57 classic and BB3, but had quite a bit of volume loss when tapped. Dropped some 4 conductor Lollar Imperials in and, in addition to the general tone upgrade, the tapped tone and volume are excellent.
Put a DiMarzio 36th Anniversary PAF HB in the neck of mine. Push-Pull coil split. I dunno the difference between tap and split; I just know it goes from ballsy classic '59 HB tones to bright and jangly. Not exactly a strat or tele SC sound, but stiill, very, very usable.
