TONIGHT's (12/15/10) the Night we Get Our Wednesday Night Jam On at the Sportsman's Lounge, 13902 Imperial Hwy, La Mirada, CA (562) 921-1016 8pm-12am!!! Things seem to be winding down for me at the Sportsman's and this might be my last night there if things don't pick up. I've done what I can to make things happen there and have had some really good nights but also some really slow nights which is the nature of the biz, if you know I mean.... But there's only so much you can do to create a positive atmosphere. When the attitudes of the staff are cold and unfriendly, and service... is bad, there's only so much promotion you can do to bring people in only for them to be driven away by hostile staff members. I know some of you have complained to me about a certain employee at the Sportsman's and I've brought those complaints to the attention of the owners, but unfortunately nothing's being done to change things, so it might be time to just let things be. I do hope you'll all join me this Wednesday night 12/15/10, though in what might be my "Last Waltz" at the Sportsman's.

No Wednesday Night Jam at the Sportsman's Lounge Tonight due to the Craptastic weather here in Southern California. We will be back for sure next Wednesday 12/29/10, though. It's been kind of slow and unsure there the last few weeks, but it looks like they still want to keep the jam going till the end of this month. I should know if we're gonna keep the jam going into the New Year or not into the next several days. We might just do the jam one Wednesday a month instead of every week starting January 2011. I'll keep you all posted on what I find out. I was thinking that last week was gonna be our "Last Waltz" but the owners did want me back this week, but unfortunately the weather killed that. Some of what I wrote in last week's advertising got back to them, and they weren't too happy about it. But it seems like the "Bad PR" raised people's curiousity a bit and it was a little busier last week then the weeks before. So I guess we'll just wait and see what happens....:dunno

Or should I say TONIGHT 12/29/10 we'll be Gettin' Our Wednesday Night Jam On Despite the Rain at the Sportsman's Lounge, 13902 Imperial Hwy, La Mirada, CA (562) 921-1016 from 8pm-12am!!! I REALLY regreted cancelling last week's jam because of the Rain....So unless I get a phone call from the owners cancelling tonight, I'll be Gettin' My Wednesday Night Jam On Tonight Rain or Shine!!!
