Anyone heard one? I'm a fan of the clips of these amps but tend to favor amps with 34's over the long haul. Just thinking this might be a match made in heaven for me :-)

I, too, would like to know this. I love the clips of the Super Space Tone 30 with EL34s... then again I love anything that comes from the mind and hands of Greg V.

Yes, Greg has some rockin' clips on the Swart site featuring EL34 tubes:

On the SST 30 main page there is also a video of Greg playing the SST 30 w/EL34s and a few pedals, very cool as well.

Is there an AST with EL34's? I am aware of the SST, but that is a different amp than the AST.

There is no AST combo with EL34s, but the AST MK II head has the ability to run two EL34s in place of the 6v6s as well as 6L6s.

From the Swart site: Arguably one of the best combos ever made, the Atomic Space Tone returns in Head Form, now with Michael's fully bypassable Master Volume with its own dedicated tube stage • Runs 6V6, 6L6, & EL-34!

ive done it and trust me, it sounds great. i keep a pair of el34's and a pair of 6l6's handy to tailor the amp to whatever i need it to be.... so much versatility. i still like it best with tung sol 6v6's, but man, it rips with el34's and a les paul.
