Replaced the Duncan Live Wire (hotter than a EMG85 into booster) in my Australian PRS Single type guitar.
My boss had some Wolfetone pick-ups around.
First impression was that they seemed a bit subdues, but they records pretty flooping well...

Well that is certainly a fine way to get someone to focus on the sound of a pickup.
What was the name of them again? ah who cares. See what I mean:D .

Yikes Ed, "you really did it good this time Lucy". :RoCkIn

Peace you maniac,
Duffy

Lol, sorry to bring up the past, but this clip rules... especially since it's supposed to comment on a pickup.

Wow, that's insane! Almost as if someone sampled each note individually and then played it back on a sequencer. I mean that as a compliment about the melodic contour and clean technique, not to imply that it's mechanical in any way. Hey, it would also make an awesome ringtone! Maybe a new business- "Mr. Degenaro's Scary Lick Ringtones"?

Haha, it's going onto my phone as my new ringer right now.

As a matter of fact I received a postal box with 2 sets of wolfetones, (Dr. Vintage and Legends) today.

the Dr. Vintage is going into my Collings I-35, and the Legends into a Les Paul 59R (both with extra coils for splitting).

Been a Wolfe fan for a while. Whenever I get a new guitar, the first thing I do is pull the pickups out and install Wolfetones. I have both the Dr. Vintage and the Legends on a couple of guitars -- They really shine when you split them.

And they got some off the wall stuff that makes this sound like kiddie stuff.
