The douche didn't want to pick up his daughter tonight because it's a karate night and he's too lazy to drive her to the dojo......

Ready for it.......????

Last second text from the sperm-doner to my step-daughter:

"I can't pick you up because I'm going Christmas shopping"

Nice.

Yeah nice, make the kid think you are buying them some great gift when you are blowing them off... that is a bummer, are you the step dad?

Don't be too upset.
My worthless dead beat egg doner ex-wife
hasn't seen her 23 year old son in 22 years.

The best thing is that kids are smarter than we often give them credit. If not now, then eventually they see who the real parent is.

My step-kids father would regularly not show up to pick them up on his weekends and 20 years later he is paying the price for this because they pretty want nothing to do with him now.

My Ex trys to control the time I'm allowed to see my 5 year old Daughter. Seems old Dad wants to see her "Too often"!! My bad for loving the little monkey...

Yup!

It really don't matter though. Nevertheless, douche-extraordinaire.

Hey Man,

Get your visitation worked out. She can't control that if it's all on the up & up.

Well, in my experience, I'd have to say...........

at least he called. There are some that simply don't show up.

Let's not beat down the dads here. They have it hard enough with the "entiltiled" moms of their children that use the kid(s) as leverage against daddy quite often.
I speak from experience here.
I have custody of my 15 year old daughter.I've had custody since before the divorce from her mother last year.
My daughter chose me to be with so, let me be clear that painting dads as the"non caring ones" is wrong.I raised my daughter and she knows it.Her mother chose to be un-involved.
My daughter knows who raised her and who cares about her.
It is kinda weak the excuse was x-mas shopping but, at least he let his child know.
Perhaps he is going to make this day up.Who knows.
Well, if mom let's him.
There are far more dead beat moms out there than many realize.

I am extremely fortunate to have a great working relationship with my ex. We share custody week by week, and allow each other travel and vacation times with no issues. I simply can't imagine doing it any other way, especially for our daughters.

Well, it's his modus operandi. He lives less then a mile away and sees her, maybe, 12 hours a month.

I appreciate your sentiment, but this one is a douche through & through. If he opens his mouth....it's a lie. About as universal as gravity.

This does suck.
Is he allowed to see his daughter when he wishes?
My ex sees our daughter far less than he.I wish it were more for our kid's sake but, it is what it is.

That's sad.
There are plenty of those on both sides unfortunately.

I suppose it makes you look better! What goes around comes around. The long way is the short way and if this guy takes the short cut with his daughter he will loose a closer connection to his daughter in the long run.

Steps...

Keep the F&#* out of the parents business. It will always end in disaster.

You're right man... it's my bad. We have a verbal agreement over this but she likes to change things based on her needs. I have to protect the little one and secure the visitation for her.
