Hi Marin,

That DR-880 must have sparked your creativity something fierce. I must admit I haven't listened to everything you have ever posted here since I'm sort of new here but since you got the DR-880 I think your sound, your timing and your phrasing has improved. Your song writing also.

I really liked this track. The sound is laid back but with a snappy bite. Your playing is like a cross between Larry Carlton and Robben Ford. I wish I could play like that.

Keep it up!

Superb tone, Marin. Crystal clear, but still quite warm. I don't know how much of it is the guitar or amp, but I like it. :D

Very expressive playing as well. A real heartbreaker.

Journo,

I really don't know what to say....thanks!

I've noticed that my timing is much better with a drum machine than a backing track. I think that I have some latency problem when recording with my amp.

Moreover, one of the ideas of buying a drum machine was to improve timing - its certainly less boring than a metronome. Also, I like that it only plays bass so I can put my own chords in there or change the tonality by changing the scale.

Larry and Robben are amongst my favourites.

thanks again.

Marin, wonderful clip. The phrasing was really nice and the tone was really good to. Sounds like all the practice is paying off!!
Best regards, strat222

Very nice! So this is an SLO? What speakers and cab are you using for this? I really like it.

Where in Italy are you MB? I am going to be in Rome and Naples in July. One of my wife's cousins is getting married. I really love Italy. I wish I spoke the language better, but my parents were born here in the USA, so I really didn't get much exposure to the language until I met my wife.

Well anyway....Great stuff!!

Thanks.

"slo" are the first 3 letter of "slow"! :)

I live in Milan (North Italy). Italy is a great place. I am not Italian but I have lived here for quite a while. Enjoy your holiday!

thanks again.
